I'm looking for a Romanian teacher in the Westchester area. I'm very interested in learning since my husband is Romanian. I work full time during the week so evening lessons (from ~5pm depending on the location) would be great.
I speak both English and Spanish, and I know some French from back in school. I'm very serious about learning the language, and a tutor in Westchester County, NY would be incredibly convenient. I'm interested in either one on one or class lessons.

I am a beginner but I think I will learn quickly as I have a basic understanding for Romanian. My parents are Romanian and I've been listening to it all my life, but as no one directly spoke to me in the language I am unable to speak having a limited vocabulary and no concept of grammar.
I would like to learn the language because when I visited Romania for my first time with my family last summer I felt that I was losing a lot by not being able to communicate with people.
My family is organizing another trip this summer and this time I would like to be prepared.
The areas I would like to focus on to begin with are definitely conversation and grammar but I also would like to develop a good vocabulary. I'd really like to be able to engage in intelligent conversation with people.
I would like to dedicate 3 to 5 hours per week for as long as it takes. I'm looking for someone who is passionate about teaching, and whose methods work well for me.

We have been living in Romania for two years and have studied some Romanian. We will be returning to the states in the fall and would like to keep up to date with our skills.
