I am very interested in learning Hindi as I have been visiting India for more than 25 years on a yearly basis.
I have a rudimentary beginner's knowledge but I would basically have to start from scratch.
I will be in Delhi in mid November 06 and would have about 10 days to study and perhaps a few more days in the beginning of Jan. 07. I am staying close to CP.

I am seeking a Hindi tutor. I am a beginner. I came to India in August 2006 and am currently living near Connaught Place in New Delhi. I came to India to learn about the culture. I would like to focus on conversationa l Hindi so I am more confident in social interaction. I can dedicate 5 hours a week to study, preferably in the evening. I am a beginner/inte rmediate student of Hindi language. I am a dedicated student who wishes to learn Hindi as fast as possible. I have been studying for two weeks now at the Landour Language school in Mussoorie. During my time here at the school I have learned mostly grammar. I have completed almost the entire book of grammar in two weeks, so now I would be interested in studying Hindi with a private tutor for repetition and for conversation practice. I would like to study one hour a day with a tutor during my stay in Delhi from Augutst 28th until November 1st. I am looking for a teacher who can explain grammar well, is outgoing in continuing conversation practice and who is flexible in teaching at the pace in which I am learning. I am a fast language learner so private lessons with a capable tutor will be most beneficial.

I am an Indian and I live and work in New Delhi. However, my Hindi is poor and I can barely have a conversation. I need to learn to speak Hindi primarily for work puporses and therefore would like to focus on the conversation aspect of learning the language.
I would like a teacher (preferably a woman), who can plan lessons that would suit my purpose. I am free to have lessons twice a week.
