I am a beginner in any foreign language. I took German for two years, so I know some German. I'm looking to learn Somali and Swahili because I plan on living in Africa for a period of time. I wish to learn Somali for reasons of both professional advancement and to assist in volunteer social services to immigrants from Somalia. My proficiency level is absolute beginner! Therefore, there are no areas in which I do not need improvement! Ideally, I would dedicate two to six hours per week to this education, depending on cost and location.
