Hello!
I will be in Rome for 6 weeks beginning February 2, 2008 in order to study Italian. I am an absolute beginner, though I have had classes many years ago in the US and also speak French and Spanish.
I would like to find a private teacher to supplement the group classes I will be taking. I would prefer two hours a week private classes but am flexible in hours and times.
I'm learning Italian because I love languages and particularly love Italian. It has been my dream to speak four languages and this year I have quit my job and rented out my house in California in order to spend the entire traveling, first learning Spanish and then Italian. I hope eventually to use languages in my job.
As I will be a beginner, I prefer to focus first on grammar , vocabulary and pronunciation vs only conversation. I like to write a lot and ask the teacher to correct what I've written... I learn quickly this way. I like someone who makes me work hard!
Also, I have not yet decided on a school in Rome for group lessons, so any knowledgeable advice from a teacher in Rome as to a recommendatio n would be greatly appreciated.

my son is 7 years old and he started to learn Hebrew this year and he is learning English.In august we will be in Italy for 3 weeks.we need a teacher throughout this period to revise what he has been taught and practice conversation 3 or 4 hours in a week.The teacher must be experianced in teaching Hebrew to the kids.
