I would like to learn the Polish language, as my husband is Polish. I am a beginner, I do know several words. I need improvement in everything. I can dedicate a couple hours a day possibly and the qualities I look for in a teacher is just to be patient, and be able to explain and give examples in more than one way.

I'm a beginner. I tend to be good with grammar and syntax but have a lousy ear. I'm interested in speaking Polish but also want very much to be able to read Polish literature (esp. Milosz, Herbert, Gombrowicz, etc.).
I can dedicate a few hours a week to study.
I'm looking for a teacher who is serious but also has a sense of humor about the whole thing. :)

I am from a Polish background but have no experience with the language except for random words. I am a beginner in the language and very keen on learning my heritages language. I want to eventually work and live in Poland and having the language will help me achieve this. I Think learning conversationa l will benefit me for now i would be thrilled to read and write though. I am open right now for learning so as much time as i need to feel confident in learning. The qualities in a teacher are easy going and just as eager as me to teach as i am to learn.
