I currently have alot of time off, and have always wanted to learn new languages. I did take french emersion growing up, although it's probably quite rusty! I do frequently visit spanish speaking countries, and know some of the more common phrases, but thought I would start there, then see what else intrests me! It would be nice to take a class or private lesson maybe a couple of times a wk, and other then an instructor who isn't mean, and speaks the language, I wouldn't really know what else to look for!

Many years ago I had basic Spanish conversationa l ability, but over the years I have lost it. I now wish to re-learn Spanish, and am presently using the Linguaphone series to learn by myself on my computer. I need to augment this with live conversationa l lessons to correct pronunciation and grammar.
I will be traveling to Andalucia in May, and would like to make some progress prior to that, and then to continue with lessons upon my return, gradually working up to being able to read Spanish literature.
I am good at learning foreign languages, and am fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Thai languages.
I would like a teacher who speaks standard Castillian Spanish, and would be flexible in scheduling hours for lessons. I probably want to spend around two two hour sessions each week, but there are weeks when I am not resident in Bangkok.
