I am a Chinese girl who wants to learn Japanese because I am visiting that country next winter (2008-2009). I am a beginner that only knows the essentials such as 'Arigatou' for 'thank you' or 'Konichiwa' for 'hello'. I know by heart all Kanas but sometimes Kanjis can be difficult for me to read.
I am free all summer.
I would like to be able to speak Japanese at least the essentials when I go visit there. (such as asking where is the bathroom or how much something costs).
