I am learning arabic for personal enjoyment. I would classify myself as in a late beginner stage. I am very comfortable with the alphabet. I have learned basic non-verbal sentence structure, and have just moved into verb conjugation, past & present tense. My greatest deficiency is conversation. I have no one with whom to practice, so, though I can express basic ideas and thoughts in written form, I have difficulty producing vocabulary verbally. I also need someone to check my written work for errors and help me better express myself in a written format. I would love to supplement in person study with some time chatting online in arabic to stretch not only my conversationa l skills, but to improve my typing skills as well.
I spend approximately one hour a day studying arabic six days a week. How much time I would spend with a tutor would depend on the fees. My preference would be an hour session twice a week.
I would like someone whose native language is arabic, who has a good grasp of the mechanics of their language and who can also introduce me to the world of arabic literature.
I have spoken French for quite a while but have recently begun to reapply myself to expanding my skills in this language. About ten years ago I took three semesters of college level French and then continued my studies at home. I would classify myself as in an upper intermediate level. I am currently going through French in Three months program, mostly for review, although the conditional and subjunctive tenses are new material for me, and require supplemental work from other programs since the 3 months program does not supply sufficient material to gain a strong grasp of a concept. My vocabulary is fairly strong and I am trying to broaden it by doing some reading. I am looking for someone to stretch my verbal skills and double check my written work. In person instruction is ideal but not absolutely necessary.

I've received a firm offer of employment with an international company that has an office in the Dallas area. My new supervisor would like for me to learn Italian due to the large amount of work our company has in Italy.
I am a beginner. My only experience in Italian is rote memorization for choral performances.
I need to attain a conversationa l level that I can build on technically.
I can dedicate between eight and ten hours per week at this time.
Shor tly after my teacher evaluates my learning abilities, he or she must help me set challenging yet realistic goals. And, my teacher must help hold me accountable to my goals.

To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Cass. I am wanting to learn the Arabic language. It is safe to assume that I do not know any of the language so I would be starting from the basics. I have looked into going to schools but the problem is that I work in the oil field so I am home only two weeks out of the month. So starting a class has been difficult for me to stay caught up with the teachings offered.
Myself and my fiance have entertained the idea of visiting her homeland in Syria. It would be helpful at that time to be able to read and conversate with the natives. I would like to meet no less than twice a week so that I may learn the language at a relatively quick pase. I am a fast learner and have always had the ability to memorize verbatim large amounts of information.
I am looking for a teacher who is patient and willing to take his time that I may learn properly and the correct pronounciatio n. I am interested in learning from someone who will make it a fun experience. Obviously punctuality is a must.
