i am a beginer that knows nothing of the languege.
i will be going to Kerala India in January for six monthes and would like to have some foundation of the langueg before ariving. once i arive in Kerala i will further study the language.
i have a great deal of free time over the sumer and would be willing to dedicate a fair amount of time to learning the language.
i would perfersom one who as experiance teaching but it is not a must.

I am looking for someone to tutor me in Malayalam, the language of Kerala, India. I am very much a beginner, although using a guide I am able to transliterate .
The purpose of learning malayalam for me is to be able to speak with my guru in Her native tongue, and to help me in my travels in that area of India. There is a lot of volunteer work in Kerala that I want very much to participate in, and it is important that I am able to communicate with the people I work with.
I am very dedicated to learning this language, and the resources out there are very limited. I am ready to commit to as much time as an instructor can offer me, either in person, or via e-mail or other.
