Hello my name is Amanda and I live in Springfield Lakes (South-West Brisbane) I am looking for a native person from Hong Kong to teach me Cantonese. I am a beginner and would like to be able to have general conversations in Cantonese and am also travelling to Hong Kong in October 2010. Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a student at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, and I have just completed a 6 month exchange program in Copenhagen, Denmark. I took an intensive Danish course there for 3 hours each day over a 3 week period before the start of semester, and I would like to continue learning the language back home in Brisbane if possible.
I have retained a very basic level of Danish -the course I took covered introductory topics such as general greetings, ordering food and numbers etc. If I am accepted into a teaching course, I would ideally like to further improve my conversationa l skills, in particular my pronounciatio n.
I hope to take Danish language courses as an extracurricul ar activity for a few hours a week. I am a dedicated student looking for (preferably) a group of other students to learn with, and an understanding teacher who enjoys sharing his/her knowledge. I look forward to joining a suitable teaching class.

I have always wanted to learn a new language and thought now would be a good time to start.
I am a beginner, but am very willing to learn. I would like to try and have a session a couple of times a week for an hour or so, to fit around my other activities.

Hi, to whom it may concern, i am keen to learn Thai language as i have travelled to Thailand many times, and plan to continue travelling there in the future. i first went there a couple of years ago for a holiday, and since then have developed a love for the country, the culture, the people and the food. i can speak some basic Thai, although i would like to get myself to a level whereby i can read and converse with locals.
