I would like to learn German because my mom grew up in Germany and speaks the language fluently. Unfortunately , she didn't speak it at home so I never picked up the language when I was young. I know very little and would like to become fluent in order to speak to my mom and family. I can dedicate 2-3 hours per week and I'm interested in private lessons or small groups in the evenings. I only know a few phrases and words so I am definetely at the beginner level.
I'm looking for a tutor that is available in the evenings near the south loop/downtown area of Chicago.

I have a basic knowledge of arabic and am interested in expanding my knowledge, specifically levantine arabic. My purpose is largely conversationa l but I do want to cover written as well. I work best in a structured environment where there is practice, homework, testing. Weeknights or weekends work best for my schedule.

I have been to Ukraine once and Russia twice, so I've learned some Russian during my time there. I can read and write the Cyrillic alphabet, but very slowly. I have some basic conversationa l ability. I am definitely still a beginner, but not completely new to the language.
I want to learn Russian so I can do more volunteerism with orphans in Eastern Europe.
I would like to spend at least an hour a week with a tutor or group to practice Russian, and I plan to dedicate about 6 hours a week to studying Russian.
I would like lessons that help me conversationa lly, but also with reading and writing if possible.
