W hy Learning Language: My partner is a Croat, I have lived in Croatia but have never formally learned the language. I have picked up a basic level of vocabluary and phrases, but my grammar level is at beginners level.
How much time you want to dedicate to lessons: Once a week - about - 1.30-2hours
What qualities in my teacher?: ability to explain basic grammar, particularly the cases, in a clear and understandabl e manner! Ability to structure a lesson so that it has a clear learning element.

I am currently a graduate student in International Studies in Chicago. I am very interested in learning Croatian, as my grandmother is Croatian, and is something I have always wanted to do. I have very little background in Croatian, and would require beginner lessons.
M y schedule is somewhat flexible, and I am open to different teaching styles. Any information on specifics of classes (both content and schedule), as well as price, would be greatly appreciated.
