My grand child is coming to stay with us for up to two months. She just turned 8 years old and knows very little english. I perfer to have in-home lessons to start but can bring her to your location after she gets more adjusted. I need someone who can relate to a younger person and has a happy and bubbly personality. I am a recent college graduate and native English speaker who has studied Arabic in college and has lived in Egypt. I would like to continue keeping up-to-date with my Egyptian Arabic speaking skills, in the event that I pursue a career with the federal government or in studying Middle Eastern politics. I'm fluent in spanish and english and I would like to be fluent in arabic too. I'm a beginner and so I'm going to need a lot of help in all the areas like grammar, conversation, or anything that is involve with the learning of the language.
I would like to learn arabic because of personal reasons and because I think it's a very interestering language. Besides, I would like to visit Lebanon very soon and I would like to be able to communicate without an interpreter.
I would like to dedicate three hours or so to the lessons.
I 'm looking for a native Arabic teacher that is willing to help me to learn the language, that has the experience, that has patience, and that has time to seat with me at any time obviously upon arrangement.
