In Japanese and Korean, I would be considered a beginner.
I have been studying French for three years- I guess that makes me somewhat a step above a beginner?
Taking French in high school alerted me to the fact that I enjoy learning new languages, and in the future, should I travel, I would like to not be ignorant of my surroundings.
I plan on majoring in French and applying my knowledge in a career suitable to my talents.
I 'm fairly adept at grammar rules and vocabulary; I suppose what I would need work on the most is proper ettiquette regarding the language in its given culture.
I would like to dedicate up to three hours a day.
I have no specifics when it comes to qualities in a teacher.

The reason why I would like to learn a different language is because I want to improve my self as many ways possible. I am a beginnner, I have no previous knowledge of korean, but I would like to learn it because my boyfriend is korean and his parents do not know a lot of english and I would like to communicate with them. I can dedicate as much time as I can to learning korean, just as long as it does not interfere with my classes in school. The qualities I am looking for in a teacher is patience because I am a slow learner, and reliability.

I'm a currently a beginner in Korean.
As to why I want to lean korean... well because I just want to learn a different language I feel it might be something I'll use in the future. For example a job, traveling, making friends, etc. I would say I need help with every thing as in writing, grammar, conversation. I'm willing to take all my free time into really learning this language. I look forward for a encouraging, maybe young, nice, and easy to understand teacher.
