I would like to lean Farsi, so i can communicate with my wife's family who are Iranian. I only know some basic words and sentences, and need improvement in conversation. Hi, I'm Emily and I'm looking (desperately) for someone to teach me the beautiful language of Farsi. I'm looking to learn mainly the speaking/list ening aspects of the language, as I'm learning it for my boyfriend and his family, and comfortably conversing in their native language would be great. I'm not looking for a private tutor, I would be a lot more comfortable in a group setting (I put 9 or more but I'm not picky!) Once a week meetings would be ideal. I'm a quick and eager learner. My name is Tim, and I want to learn how to (in order) understand a normal Farsi conversation (listen, translate and speak), be able to read Persian Script, and eventually be able to write in Farsi. My reason to learn is for personal growth and I would be starting as a beginner with very little pre-existing knowledge of the language. The amount of time I would like to spend learning would be a couple times (depending on cost) a week with an actual tutor and more on my own. I want my lessons to teach me the basics i.e. alphabet, and proper pronunciation of words and letters, how to speak formally and with the native slang, and ect. I'm looking for an experience tutor that is well versed in the language and the cultural.
