I'm inquiring about Tagalog lessons so i can converse with family and friends when I visit the Philippines. For the most part, I'm at a beginner level but I do understand a bit of Tagalog. I'm mostly interested in learning the conversationa l aspect of the language. As far as how much time I'm willing to spend, it's up to my instructor to determine how much help I need and time to accomplish my goal. I'm looking for an instructor who is both fluent in English and Tagalog and has experience in teaching beginners.

I am learning arabic because my husband is egyptian and my step father is egyptian. I want to learn to be able to pass on to my children as well as for business purposes. It is hard to say what level I am in this language because I can speak and understand some but I speak slang egyptian. I would like to dedicate as much time as I can to learn this language as rapidly as possible to help with my career dealing with forgein banks and customers. I am hoping to have an understanding and patient teacher.
