I have no prior knowledge of German.
I have recently been accepted to a Swiss university for PG. Located in Zurich, they require a C1 (basic) level proficiency before commencement of the semester in February 2009.
I would like to know if it is possible to learn German upto this level before I leave. I am located at Masab Tank and available at anytime.

I'm a beginner and have been to germany a couple of times, my last stay was 6 months. I know many german words and can construct some sentences, I know most key words such as und, bitte, danke, ja, nein.. and so on. The part I find hard about learning german is the grammar and everything else seems less difficult. I hope to study german on the weekend but not sure for how many hours, depends on the cost of the lessons. I'm looking for a teacher that can explain the german grammar in a not so confusing way.
