I am learning Turkish because from the summer of 2011 to the summer of 2012 I will be studying abroad in Turkey. Although I have experience learning Spanish, I know very little Turkish. I leave in eight months for my trip and by that time I would like to be a strong beginner in Turkish. I am looking to dedicate 3-4 hours per week studying Turkish, 2 hours with a teacher and 2 hours on my own. I am looking for a teacher who is willing to be patient and work with me to improve my language skills.
