I am just starting to learn Mandarin Chinese. I would like to have better understanding of grammar structure and the tones. I really just want to be able to have general canversation skills. I would like to devote 2 hours a week to instruction. I am looking for a teacher that can keep me motivated and make the learning not feel like it is work. I understand all learning takes time and requires working hard but I do not think it has to be boring. I would like to learn with a Pinyin based system.
