Hi my name is Gary Gonzalez and I want to learn how to speak Haitian creole mainly because I plan on going to the island of Haiti and want to at least have some kind of knowledge of the language culture and history of the Haitian people that reside there. I'm somewhat proficient in creole I grew up in South Florida my whole life and as a result have some general understanding of the language due to all my haitian friends that have embraced me into there culture.I'm really dedicated to learning this and plan to spend as much time as I need to in order to have a well profound knowledge of this great nation, language, and culture which has fascinated me for quite some time. I'm looking for a teacher who is fluent, patient and not so strict in his or her methods of teaching.
