Dear Ms. Tran,
I am interested in learning conversationa l Vietnamese. My family is Vietnamese and I have a basic understanding of the language but was encouraged as a child to speak English instead. I've never gone to Vietnamese grammar school and would eventually like to learn how to read and write in Vietnamese. My main goal however is to speak the language and broaden my vocabulary. I live in Union Square and would like to take classes once a week or bimonthly depending on your rates. I'm looking for a teacher with a northern accent.
