I plan to find a job in Shanghai in two years time and I want to learn their language first before I start applying there. I don't know anything about Mandarin so I will be a Beginner if ever i enroll in the course. I would like to learn grammar and conversationa l Chinese (mandarin). I can allot 4 sessions in a month, one hour per session.

I live in Scarborough and want to be able to communicate with my Chinese friends, and hopefully eventually to work in an environment using Mandarin.
I have studied a little with friends and have also taken a 3-month intensive course in Beijing (BLCU).
I want to continue my studies in Toronto, with a special emphasis on speaking and listening comprehension .

The reason why I'm learning foreign language for career advancement and for my skill profile.
