I am trying to learn the Japanese language because I am completely fascinated with the culture. I communicate with Japanese people often, but I would like to be able to speak to them in Japanese not English. I work in a Japanese restaurant as well.
I plan to travel to Japan often after I learn the language fully.
I am a beginner knowing some vocabulary and basic phrases. I have tried many programs but It's not easy without a real person teaching you. I would like lessons that are structured. With teachings and tests and homework. The whole deal. Be strict, I want to learn it very badly. I can dedcate as mu ch time as needed. I do have a job but we can work around that I hope.

I'm a culturally diverse person wanting to learn more about my Japanese heritage and language. I've got many relatives currently living in Japan, but unfortunately have not yet had the oppportunity to visit. As Japanese is their native language, communication via telephone and email are quite difficult.
My goal is to be able to easily communicate, interact, and become more familiar with the Japanese culture. I'm hoping to travel to Japan in the future and would love to be more adapt to the culture as to better understand and appreciate all that the country has to offer.

I'm learning Japanese to help with my career and to continue learning about the Japanese culture, despite being a beginner in the language. I personally feel I need to improve in all aspects of the Japanese language, as I don't want to miss basic points I might not know yet. I'm not sure how much time I'd put in, its more how much time I can take out of day for the lessons, as I participate in after school activities that could cause problems in the scheduling. The main qualities I'd like to have my teacher to have lots of experience, a serious passion for the language, and a large understanding of how I have to work the lessons around my main priorities.
