I really enjoy languages and have been studying different ones all my life although I'm only fluent in 2. My son, who is 10 will soon be studying Spanish, so I thought this would be a great time to start. Also, I have many friends from Spain, including my best friend from Barcelona. I studied Latin for 3 years at private school as a child, and, as I said, many Spanish friends who try and speak with me so I can understand some Spanish. However, I would still consider myself a beginner. I need improvement in all areas from vocabulary to grammar since the sentence structure is very different from English. I would like to have maybe 2 lessons a week. Depending on where and when since I am a single mother. I would prefer the teacher have a good, motivating attitude who isn't patronizing as I can easily lose my motivation.

Me, my husband and our 17 year old sun are moving to Mallorca. None of us speaks spanish (me and my husband a few words...) We would like to be able to talk and comunicate in spanish. We will arrive in Mallorca in mid September and are then looking for a teacher who can work with us for some time. We will be renting a house near Inca, why that would be the perfect place for us to go.
