I am a young aspiring scholar, and I would like to learn greek as my third language because of the effects that early greek culture has had on the western world. I would like to be able to read some of my favourite old stories in their mother language, such as the iliad or the odyssey. I also intend to attend university studying the classics, and greek or latin courses are taken there, so I would like to get a head start on that information.
I have no knowledge as of yet of greek. I have never studied it, and have had very little exposure to it in my life. I am willing to dedicate as much as 2 hours weekly to learning greek, though if it is determined that I would need more then I would be open to the idea.
I am a passionate, musical english and french language writer, looking to expand my horizons.

My level in spanish is really basic. I took a summer camp in spanish 6 years ago and went to spain for a week last summer so I know the basics, but that's about it.
I am a medical student. I would like to learn spanish because I want to do an international elective in South America this summer and to do so I know I need to be at least intermediate in spanish.
I would like one or two sessions a week from January to May. I would like my teacher to be fun, interactive, yet effective.

Hi,
I'm interested in taking beginner private or small classroom Italian classes in person, in Ottawa. These classes would take place weekly, from 12:00 noon to 13:00. Does any teacher currently teach in downtown Ottawa, in government buildings to federal employees wishing to learn a foreign language at lunch time? I would be learning this language for my personal enjoyment and I plan to visit many Italian cities on a 3-week trip to Italy in 2010.
