I am a beginner. I know the alphabet and can read and write it but I know very little vocabulary and grammar. I am a freshman in college and I am currently attempting to engage in a university supported independent study of Korean: My college does not offer Korean.
I am looking for someone to be my mentor and keep tabs on my progress. 'In person' lessons, though preferred, are not necessary. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am actually trying to learn a number of different languages, and any that are available to me. I am a native English speaker, and was AT ONE POINT fluent in French and Spanish. I was intermediate in German. It has been a long time since I've used any of the above, so I am basically coming into this scene as a beginner. I would love to learn Korean (which I have NEVER spoken), and Latin (which I have also never known). I would love to speak French again, and I've always wanted to know Japanese. Once I find someone who can teach me, I am ready to learn. I do not intend to tackle numerous languages at once, but I do believe I need a starting point. =]

Hi, I have wanted to learn Korean for quite a long time because I think I should be better at Korean, however, I could not find a school or teacher appropriate for me.
I am about intermediate level? I am OK at speaking basic Korean language, but not those that include chinese character meanings. I am efficient enough at reading, but I have much trouble with spelling and writing. I do not know too much about Korean culture, other than New Years.
Lesso ns once a week would be the best since I do have a somewhat busy week.
I would like a Korean teacher if possible and writing focused lessons.
