I would say my German proficiency is at an advanced beginner or lower intermediate, depending how you look at it.
I've seen nominative, accusative and dative cases as well as past-perfect tense.
My girlfriend has a more advanced intermediate knowledge of German, and the two of us are looking for lessons twice a week for 1-1.5hours.
I would prefer lots of german conversation in addition to the standard grammar.
I want to learn because I believe a second language is important.
