I am a beginner and I would like to learn japanese as I aspire to travel to japan in my gap year of university to teach English to Japanese people. I have had no experience of the language before and would be learning from scratch. I am willing to dedicate a larege amount of time to these lessons, at least once a week. I would like to be able to easily communicate with my teacher and be friendly with him/her.

I would like to learn to speak japanese as i would like to take a japaese degree next year and would like to get a head start. I know very little just what i have learned from a book and tapes but feel i would be better of learning via a teacher. I would mainly like to learn conversation but also reading at some point too. I would probibly like to do 1 to 2 lessons a week depending on how much free time i have.

My level at the moment is still begginers level. My girlfriend is Japanese and we will definately be moving to japan to live in 1-2 years time. As I'm setting up my own business I will be taking that with me and will need to be able to speak the language when i get there to survive.
A ll areas need improvement as I've just been learning for fun for the last year.
I'm hoping to learn 1 or 2 nights a week, 2-3 hours each time. the lesson will have to be from 7pm onwards due to work commitments.
