My son (aged 9) and daughter (aged 5) are in an international school and have to learn Bahasa Melayu as it is compulsory for Malaysians. We do not speak Bahasa Melayu at home, so they have little to none comprehension of the language. They need to improve their overall understanding of the language to bring their overall Grade in class up. Lessons can be once or twice a week in the afternoons after 3pm. I am a native English speaker from ireland. My partner and I (also irish) would like to learn Bahasa Malay. we are both beginners and would like to learn conversationa l Bahasa and grammer. We can allocate 1-2 evening a week (after 6pm) or weekends, 1-2hour each lesson. Wish for reasonable rate.

I am currently working in kuala lumpur and will be here for a few years. I would like to learn Bahasa Malay because I think learning the native language of a country is an important way to learn about the people and culture. I work full time so I would like to have a two hour lesson, once a week.
