I am learning Dutch because I would like to move over there next year. Besides that, I am in love with the language. I am a beginner, but I feel that I could learn quickly as I love the language so much. I need particular improvement with sentence structure, I know very many Dutch words, but have a hard time putting them in a sentence, and making sentences correctly. I want to dedicate as much time to my language lessons as my wallet allows. I need a teacher who is easy to get along with and someone who has patience, because sometimes I can be a slow learner on certain areas of languages.

I am just beginning to learn Dutch as one of our sons now lives there. I will dedicate as much time as possible to make progress. I am an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, so I don't have too much time but I am a dedicated learner. If a teacher is available in my area, I would like to speak with him/her first so as to set up some criteria for their enjoyment and my learning. I am interested in an intensive 'submersion' Dutch language course. I have relatives in Brussels, with whom I could stay with in order to take the course in Belgium. I am a beginner. My partner and his family are Dutch native speakers but speak perfect English and so my necessity to learn Dutch has not been urgent. However, at this point in my life I would like to learn the language, not only for myself, but out of respect for my partner and his family. I am at the Intermediate Level of Dutch reason for learning is my husband is Dutch, and I have always had an interest in foreign languages.
A t present we are here on work permit & I am a house wife I do have lots of free time & would like to invest it in learning Sign Language which in due time I will be able to apply those skills that I have learned into working & helping the deaf & dumb. I am a people person & love communicating .
I dont have a special qualities that I will look for in a teacher just someone honest & dedicated to teaching. I also think that the experience will speak for itself.

From the moment I heard the Dutch language for the first time, I have been in love with it. I have been teaching myself, with some assistance from Dutch friends here and there, for approximately the last year and a half. I read things in Dutch on the internet, I watch Dutch television, listen to Dutch radio. I attempt to submerse myself in the language as much as I can while living in the US. I would love to someday live in the Netherlands, and therefore, I think it is key that I speak the language. Then again, if it weren't for the language, I would have never had such a strong desire to learn more about the country, and I would have never found out how much I love it! I would love to be able to take the NT2 exam and officially be fluent in speaking Dutch.
