I am a mother and wife that is truly interested in having their family be bilingual. I tried doing it just myself, but it's very time consuming. Specially when I have them all starting from different points. My kids are a little easier to teach it's my husband that's the hard one. He is interested, but needs more then me for a teacher. I am learning tagalog because I am a goofy white guy and I hang out with a lot of Filipino people. At least 20 people I work with are born in the Phillipenes, and I'm interested in being able to communicate with them. Also, I am most attracted to Filipino females, so I would like to broaden my spectrum by being able to speak to all Filipino women, not just the ones in America. The Filipinos that I hang out with have no major interest in learning Tagalog, and aren't a very big help in teaching me what they already know, or practicing the conversations that I have learned. In Las Vegas, the Filipino poplulation is very large and growing. A lot of the older Filipino natives have difficulty speaking in english, and I am interested in being able to coversate with them regardless. I understand most people that speak tagalog also say learning spanish is very easy for them, witch I also intend on learning. I have looked in to taking college classes in tagalog, but have yet to find a place that offers this training. I do not really know a lot of Tagalog, basic greetings, titles, but I definitely need a lot of improvement to conversate. I think that one of the greatest gifts we have in this world is communication , and I think it is a major injustice to only communicate with one group of people. Learning new languages interests me greatly, and the individuals that have taught me the spanish and tagalog I know tell me I am a very good student. All I've learned so far is from videos on youtube, so I don't necessarily have a lesson plan any further than just reciting to myself over and over what I have written down. I would like some examination, some documentation that shows my improvement. I am a fast learner, and I would love to see what you have to offer. What your prices are and what your lesson plan is.

I would love to learn Tagalog, Japanese, Spanish, and French for career advancement and to be a smarter and more interesting person. My proficiency in all above languages are all beginner. I need improvement in all areas of these languages. I want to dedicate as much time as needed to learn a foreign language and as much time as my part time job permits. I am trying to learn Mandarin, Chinese. I am currently an international business degree major and currently speak Spanish, and Farsi. I would like to learn Mandarin by next summer, for thats when I will be graduating, and I would possibly like to do an internship in China before advancing my education with a Masters in International business.
I am an absolute beginner. I have Rosetta Stone for Madarin, but it's far more difficult than I expected, and I feel like I need a solid jump start.
I would like to dedicate as much time to learning this as possible. I am extremely dedicated to learning Mandarin, I will do whatever it takes to learn it.
I am looking for someone who can teach me conversation speaking, but as well as being able to tackle the business world to the best of my ability in speaking Mandarin.

Hello. I'm learning Scottish Gaelic for a number of reasons. It is strictly a personal choice that I made about five years ago and am determined to become fluent. At this time I would say that I am an advanced Intermediate student, although I have been without formal instruction for the past two years and need some refreshing before advancing further. I particularly need improvement with proper gramatical sentence structures and their explainations . I am one of those persons that also needs drills. Drills, drills, drills!
I could devote one hour per week (online) to formal instruction by a qualified instructor, and four hours per week for self study/homewor k/reading/memo rizing.
An instuctor willing to address and adhire to my personal language needs is desirable.
