Hello,
I am interested in learning to speak, read and write Korean. I am also interested in learning about the culture as well but most importantly want to learn to speak the language. I have not yet begun to learn anything so I would very much be a beginner! I would be learning everything from scratch. I am interested in starting out slow, maybe an hour a week and would be interested in communicating via email or phone at times but am definitely looking for some face to face time at least some of the time. I am looking to learn from a Native speaker please.

I am a college student majoring in International Relations, with a regional specializatio n in Eastern Asia. I am studying Japanese as part of this major, and Chinese as part of my minor field of study. I cannot study Korean at my College, so I have started trying to learn it on my own, with limited success.

I am a beginner, though I have been involved with Korean people for nearly 3 years because many have come to my school in Texas & I have volunteered to help them in various activities, such as shopping, eating, going to the bank, going to church, etc. I can read & write Korean by seeing & by hearing.
I want to learn Korean because I plan on being here at least 3 years to teach English!
I need improvement in speaking. My listening is pretty good, but I want to be able to pick out certain words when people speak to me. I also need to improve my vocabulary.
I want to dedicate one hour a day all week long to studying Korean, if possible.
I am looking for a teacher who can teach me in many different ways - speaking, writing, listening, activities outside the classroom, etc.

Um, right now i know little korean, like 'hi, bye, nice to meet you' ha, due to korean dramas. I'm willing to deticate my weekends and afternoons probably around 5? I still have school.. I would like to learn how to sing Korean songs. I saw a movie about Trot music called 'Hyway Star'. I just loved the music they were singing. I have also been watching KBC talent shows and shows that feature lots of singers and would love to learn to sing enough Korean songs to put a show together for myself. I am a singer of 60 years old and have sung lots of different styles. Opera, R&B, Pop, alternative, Jazz, Classical, and I write too. So could you direct me to a teacher who could help me accomplish my goal if you do not handle this field? Thank you very much.
