Description
I am a graduate student looking to learn latin at an elementary level with the hope of progressing to a more advanced state. My reasoning stems from my love of classic literature as well as alchemical transcripts, each which are heavilly laden with latin quotation. I would like to meet once or twice a weekend.

Description
I was drafted into the Army and served in Vietnam in 1971. My duties were 'in the rear with the gear' and I had the privilege of having four Vietnamese women in my section. I also did some work with the chapel organizations and made several sponsered trips to visit missionaries and churches in the area. I fell in love with the people and have always wanted to do additional work with the people.
My wife and I are active with the International student Fellowship group at the University of Houston and are currently working socially with two students (one has transferred to TCU but we are still active with her on a limited basis)and their friends.
W e have had a great time learning about the Vietnam of today and teaching them American culture. One of the student's father is a surgeon in Saigon and we were able to meet him and have dinner last month.
I have attempted several times to learn Vietnamese on my own; however, without structure, I have not been successful. Also, I have a distinct Texas drawl and it does not transfer to Vietnamese without assistance. I confess that as a business professional I do not have alot of time to devote to a compressed learning schedule. I do want to be able to communicate in Vietnames at least at a basic level. My current neighborhool also has a large percentage of Vietnamese and I would love to be able to communicate better with them.
Than k you.

Description
I need to learn Croatian, Bosnian and Serbian to do research in those countries. I am a beginner and am enrolled in a language course. I would like to get some practice with my speaking BCS (e.g. conversation and pronunciation ). Ideally, I would like to spend 1-2 hours a week with a tutor. I am looking for someone that can make me feel confident about speaking (e.g. when I get nervous, it gets really hard to speak BCS).
