I would like to learn Urdu. I am a beginner in Urdu. I know some vocabulary but no grammar or sentence structure. My family is from Pakistan and I would like to speak Urdu with them. I would like to take classes 3 days a week, one hour/day. I would like to be proficient in conversationa l Urdu and Grammar My second priority would be learning how to read and write Urdu. I would prefer a teacher who knows English very well and will make learning Urdu fun and interesting. I am a hard worker and am very willing to learn.

I am learning Russian as a major component of my Bachelor's degree and future career ambitions. I hope and plan to work in some capacity in Russia, connected with Russia as well as the Far East in the next 5 years.
My proficiency level is intermediate, with my strength being in conversationa l Russian. I am severely lacking in a formal style of speaking and need help with grammar and building my active and passive vocabulary around speaking confidently about concepts in business, government, the legal world.
I am willing to devote with my tutor 1 hour per day, up to 3 days per week to reach my goals, I currently study at a university, so some of my questions and lesson direction may be influenced by what I am trying to master in class.
I am looking for a firm but patient teacher, hopefully someone who is familiar with teaching foreigners, but someone who is willing to help the learning process without the aid of English.

-I need to learn the foreign language because my native language is Spanish and I reside in USA.
-I'm not sure about my level but probably advance. I understand 95% of English but I can speak 70% of it. I need to be more fluent and I don't know how to use the right verbs.
-I need improvement in conversation and pronunciation .
-one of the qualities is that my teacher needs to be patient and really smart because I really want to be fluent.

Hello, my name is Richard. I would like to learn Mandarin for several reasons. Career advancement is one reason but more importantly Atlanta has become an asian melting pot and many Chinese are failing to learn proper English. Also my grandkids are being urged to learn another language. The common thought nowdays is to learn Chinese. It would be helpful if I could learn at the same time as my grandchildren .
I would be a beginner. I am 56 and probably would not learn as fast as someone younger but I am very intelligent and a hard worker. I am available every day before 3:00 pm. I would prefer an older teacher either 1 to 1 or in a small class. I would also prefer a female teacher as they are usually more patient. I would accept any age or gender.
