Hi. My family and I have been living here in Macau for over 1 year now and need language lessons. We are beginners. The kids need help reading, writing and conversing. I would like to just converse. I am a beginner in Mandarin although I have studied it for 2 years. I have not studied in the last year and a half. I am learning Mandarin because I find the language interesting and enlightning. I would like to have lessons at least 3 times a week. I am ideally looking for a teacher interested in language exchange or one that is not charging very much money.

I find that I have to use Mandarin more and more in my job, but I'm not fluent and I have trouble with Guo-yu's tones.
I would say I'm at an intermediate level but I've never taken a class in it.
I need someone (a) to speak with conversationa lly; (b) whom I can ask about pronunciation , tone and vocabulary issues.
I want to dedicate two hours a week to this one-on-one practice, but wil go with whatever is practical. I am already studying every night.
I need someone who is friendly and enjoys conversation.
