I studied in Peru for two months and have since travelled around various countries in South America. I would put my self at above beginners level. I am currently volunteering in a small town outside of pereira and really want to improve my level. I want to be confident and work on grammar in particular and the construction of sentences. I am learning a foreign language because I wanted to have a career which involves language and I love travelling. Also I am a University student studying Spanish and I just feel like I need extra help to improve my level in the language. My proficiency level should be advanced at this point but i think i'm more at intermediate level. I'm average in all areas of the language grammar conversation, reading, listening etc but i would like to improve my level in all areas. I would like to dedicate as much time as possible which is atleast two days a week at this point. The qualities I am looking for in a teacher is knowledgeable ,patient, motivating.
