I am an intermediate student of kiswahili. I live in Nairobi but I am visiting Boston, Washington DC, and San Diego in October - November 2006 and I want to continue kiswahili instruction with a tutor. I am interested in tutoring for one or two hours daily with homework and memorization exercises totaling another one or two hours, for a total time commitment of four hours daily. The tutor should be a native speaker. My first language is English.

I am a beginner. I studied in Kenya in 2002 and had a one month intensive course, but most of that is lost now. I want to learn Swahili for fun and to keep in touch with my host family and friends back in Kenya. I also am thinking of traveling back there. I would like to meet once a week.
