My wife and I will be traveling to Italy next May. We would both like to learn enough Italian to be able to get around without too much of a problem. We are interested learning the language well enough so that we do not offend the locals. My extended family is filipino and speaks tagalog. I cannot. I need to learn!
I'm a beginner. I've been studying a bunch on my own, through Rosetta Stone, and textbooks, but I have almost no vocal practice, or conversationa l knowledge.
I need to practice speaking as well as sentence structure.
I want to dedicate some time every night to my language lessons.
I 'm looking for a native Tagalog Speaker to help me with pronunciation and 'real' spoken Tagalog... Meaning not too formal, and not too slang.

I am a beginner somewhat. I took spanish in high school, but that was years ago. I wish to learn to speak this language because it is the second most spoken language in the United States. I know it will advance me in any career path out in the job market. I would love to learn to speak the language, not simply memorize it and need a dictionary with me at all times. I would love to invite a spanish speaking person to live with me or at least visit me daily. I would invest eight hours a day to learning this language. I feel my age shows my maturity level.
