Hi, I'm a chinese, 24. I did not have too many chances communicate in English during my primary/secon dary sch years because i came from chinese primary + sec sch.
Now I really suck in speaking. I'm low in confidence when it comes to english speaking, I can't express myself most of the time, even a 6 years old kid who comes from english speaking background can talk better than me. Hence I seriously need a personal English teacher to sharpen my speaking skills.
Ba sically, I know where I'm bad at.
1) Bad in expressing
2 ) Nervous when talking with english-talki ng friends, usually would make lots of funny mistakes when communicating with them. I think i'm overly formal sometimes, u know malaysians do not talk too formal, but i was like don't want to make gramatical mistakes like 'is, are,' or some past tense things, and sometimes overly concern of stuff like these make myself to make even more mistakes...
Improvements I want to see myself within the next 3 months, 6 months and 1 year.
-Good in speaking. At least, able to talk FLUENTLY, and able to express myself in anyway i want.
-I need an English teacher who can speak both chinese and english. This is important because only chinese will know the problem of a chinese when it comes to english speaking.
-I need a personal english teacher who can come over to my house teach me, at night, 8-10pm.
