I am a beginner and am planning to travel to Belarus in 2007. I am mainly interested in learning conversationa l and survival language skills. My father's family comes from Belarus and I am hoping to visit them as part of larger travel plans. I would prefer to have lessons on a weekly basis of about 1 hour but will be guided by the teacher's recommendatio ns. I would prefer my teacher to be a native speaker who is patient with my learning the nuances of pronunciation and endings, etc.
