I am a 30 year old Sikh born and raised in England. I can speak Punjabi reasonably well but would like to be able to read punjabi. I studied punjabi for a short while as a child and can read very basic words. I would like to become fluent in reading. I am willing to take as many lessons as required to be able to read well. Am looking for some one who is patitent and can understand an adult learning environment.

My parents native language is Urdu but I can only speak it on a beginner's level. I have a great understanding of the language, I am just not able to respond effectively. I hope to improve my grammer, pronounciatio n, and overall ability to communicate in Urdu/Hindi/Pu njabi. This has been something on my list of things to do for years now and I'll be committed to putting in the time and effort to get the results I'm working towards. I just need someone who is patient and understanding and knowledgable about the language and my downfalls. I am excited at the prospect of finally being able to converse in my native tongue and look forward to learning and improving.

i am wanting to learn Punjabi mainly because i am punjabi and i fully understand the whole language it just doesn't seem to get out right when i speak it, aswell as i get very shy that i may be mis prounoucing something or mixing it up with hindi. i am getting married this coming up spring and would love to surprise all my family and my future mother in law. i am very limited on time but i am a fast learner and i am super motivated. the reason i am pressed for time is because i work monday to friday 9am-7pm and i work saturday 9am-4pm. and i also study correspondenc e for my diploma. i am looking forward to hearing from you and to get started.

My two sons aged 21 and 23 born in Australia want to have a traditional indian marriage, which makes me very happy, they really need help to learn basic punjabi, also we have a 4 year old niece who would love to learn, so if there is somebody who can help us we would be so gratefull. I can speak Punjabi i can't write it,i have tried to teach them, but our hours clash, i work daytime they work evenings.. We have Skype so we can use that to communicate. We would appreciate any help that we could get thank you
