My husband and I are adopting two little girls from India and we know that they speak Hindi and Telugu. I'm hoping to learn some basics in both languages to help our girls with the transition. I have studied some Hindi through Rosetta Stone but I still consider myself very much a beginner. I haven't had any experience with Telugu yet.

I have always wanted to learn a second language. Since I live in an area where there is a large Russian population I thought it would be interesting to learn the language. Also, I could practice by speaking as well as buying the newspapers to supplement my reading ability.
