Hello, my name is Louis and I am planning on visiting the Czech Republic next year some time in August or September. My wife is a native of the Czech Republic, but doesn't feel that she can effectively teach me the language. I am a beginner and want to be able to have a conversation when I visit. I am hoping that we can dedicate one day a week to the lessons. I recently took a business class in Hollywood and it was on Thursday nights from seven to nine in the evening. This worked out for me since I don't have to work on Friday's and I can stay the night if needed. I have family that live in Long Beach and will stay with them, but weather permitting I will travel back and forth to Bakersfield. I am open to a both private lessons as well as a class setting.

I'm learning Romanian to impress a special someone in my life. My proficiency level is probably somewhere below beginner, if there were any such level. I need to understand the basic grammar, pronounciatio n, etc. I'm probably willing to dedicate 4hrs each month to the class and probably 24-28hrs/mont h, if possible, to self-study. I'm looking for a teacher that is patient, understanding , and probably one who demends a lot from their student(s).
