I would like to learn to speak Mandarin as I have an interest in Chinese culture and would like to visit China next year. I currently only know a few words and am at a beginner level. My name is Bronia and I would like to learn Mandarin to further my education, help my career prospects and to bridge the language barrier with the people I do volunteer work with at my local Buddhist Temple.
I am a beginner in all aspects of the word!
I would like to learn to read, speak and write Mandarin.
I would like to be able to do lessons during a normal school day (9am-2pm) during the week (mon-fri) a couple of days per week.
The qualities I would like in my teacher is one who is patient and as eager as I am!
I hope this profile reaches out to someone as I would like to start learning asap or starting Feb 2010.

- I am in China right now learning the language through a program.Throu gh this program, we are required, when our return, to take Chinese for a year.I would like my own personal tutor so that i can fully learn the language.
