Hello Teachers!
Japanese Teachers:
I currently work as a Japanese-Engl ish translator/in terpreter here in the Bay Area, and am looking for an experienced Japanese language instructor to help me with improving my written Japanese language skills. If you can help me, please get in touch!! Ideally, I'd like to meet once a week with an experienced instructor to work on compositions, correct them, and learn new things.
Hi ndi Teachers:
I have had some experience studying Hindi as well, having journeyed throughout India three times---the last time I traveled there, I spent six months in an intensive Hindi language instruction programme, and managed to attain an elementary level of conversationa l Hindi. I can also read and write a little. I'd like to work with an experienced Hindi teacher to review what I've learned so far and maybe go a bit further. Ideally, I'd like to meet once a week.
Arab ic Teachers:
I've recently started teaching myself Arabic at home just for the fun of it---I've spent the last couple of years reading up on the Middle East, and while I have learned a lot this way, in my experience studying the politics, economics, or culture of any given country or society, one eventually needs to learn the language of the people one is studying if one ever hopes to learn anything. I'm fascinated with Arabic, and hope that I can find an experienced teacher to take me through the basics of reading, writing, and conversation. Ideally, I'd like to meet once a week.

I have studied Hindi formally for three years and one of those years I lived in Banaras. But that was ten years ago, and although I've made trips back to India sporadically over the past decade, I feel that I am no longer fluent (plus I now have a lot of difficulty understanding conversationa l Hindi). So I need special work in conversation, and I would like to dedicate several hours a week to one on one practice! I would like to find a teacher who is fluent in Hindi (a native speaker) and who is dedicated to getting me fluent in Hindi too. It would be great if that person could meet me in Boulder, but I would also be willing to travel to Denver. Thank you!
