My daughter is 4 yrs old. We are relocating from Columbus, OH to the Nashville area and she will be attending Franklin Road Academy(FRA) this year. She had Mandarin Chinese lessons 3 days a week at her private school in Ohio last year. Mandarin Chinese is not offered at FRA. Her instructor at her previous private school has encouraged us to continue her education since she (in preschool) had learned more words than most of the kindergarten students. I am looking for an instructor to teach her Mandarin Chinese at FRA Tues, Wed, and Thurs from 7:15am - 7:45am. The school will make a classroom available.

I am very interested in learning the Japanese language, because I believe it's the first stepping stone into learning more about their culture. I have done some self study on my own, and even taken a college 110 course in Japanese language. I'd really like to work on foundation material, and get some face to face conversation time. I'd more than likely be interested in something weekly, however any and all exposure is good for learning! I'm really looking for a teacher who has spent time native in Japan, because I'm sure the culture questions will come non-stop.
