I am taking a year out from working in marketing in order to attain a solid working knowledge of Chinese that I can use in my day-to-day work.
I am currently a full-time student of Chinese at one of Shanghai's main universities, but find the classroom environment and course content are preventing me from maximising my time.
I am now exploring one-to-one teaching options as an alternative. I am likely to require about 6 - 10 hours tuition per week for the next 10 months, depending on cost.

I am looking to start learning Chinese (manadarin) from a an absolute beginner level. I want to learn for both personal and business reasons adn am intending that this is a long term process as I am going to be in Singapore for a minimum of 4 years ..

I'm student in marketing and has been working part time for some companies from Asia. Unfortunately i dont understand chinesse and its a very much handicap when dealing. Im a beginner but i do know some words in japanesse since i watch loads of japanesse movies.
I spare some hours/ week for studying chinesse. I want to be able to understand and speak chinesse.

I am beginner, I want to learn Chinese because I want to communicate more people around me and most important thing is for career. Most of the job requirement says candidate should communicate clients in Chinese/ Mandarian.
C hinese Language is totally new for me so I want to learn everthing so that I can easily and correctly communicate people i.e. Conversation area.
I can give 2 hours daily for my Chinese lessons, and I want learn in group so that it is easy to communicate with friends.
My instructor can speak good English so that I can understand how to express and speak new language, should be friendly.
