Hi,
I'm looking for some help with my spoken Hindi. I'm an Indian, living here in the U.S the past 3 years. I have never really felt a need to learn this language until I came here and realized that almost every other Indian knows or is expected to know the language.
I have recently been hired at a multi-nationa l company, and find it hard to converse with other Indians - since for some reason they wont talk in English.
I have an excellent command of the English and Tamil languages, and believe that I have a very good grasp of language in general. I can read and write hindi to a certain extent as well.
I would classify myself as a beginner in spoken hindi.
I need focus in conversationa l hindi and would look for a teacher who can understand my background and my individual needs to learn the language.
I'm prepared to dedicate upto a couple of hours every day to learn the language, but I'm looking for very specific, structured and progressive instruction.I am moving to Atlanta by the end of April 2005, and if there is anybody present locally available for personal tutoring, that would be great.

Hi,
I'm starting grad school in the fall and need to learn some Hindi or Hindi-Urdu before I start. I would like to have lessons once or twice a week; I'm very fleixble I've been teaching myself a little Hindi, so I know the basics and will be able to progress quickly. I would love to work with any teachers know are fluent in Hindi... knowing Urdu script would be a bonus!
