i am keen to learn sign language as i wish to go into a deaf teaching and counselling profession and am especially interested in drama with deaf students and using sign language in theatre to appeal to deaf audiences. I am a beginner and have only learnt basic sign language such as numbers, alphabet, colours, countries etc. i am available from April 2004 and am willing to commit up to 10 hours a week to learn the language. i am looking for a patient understanding teacher willing to help me progress in my chosen language.

I am a beginner. I want to learn sign language to be able to teach children and adults. I feel there are not enough teachers or classes or schools that teach sign.
One to two hours a day, weekends, evenings, however.
