My daughter is 8 years old and I would like her to start learning Mandarin Chinese.
S he goes to a private school and they also my be interested in hiring a teacher to teach the students k-8 Chinese. Many of the parents have inquired.

I am a beginner in learning Chinese and aim to achieve a GCSE in mandarin by next year to enable me to take English language and linguistics at university. I have studied mandarin before at a private school but i feel it would be of more benefit to have a private tutor.I would like to have frequent lessons e.g. once or twice a week. I need a friendly interactive tutor who is committed and dedicated.

I have 2 sons and a daughter who have been taking the international languages school program. My first son has been enrolled for 6 years, my second son for 4 and my daughter started last September. I require a tutor for them in order to strengthen what they have learned and to help them learn more.
Both my husband and I feel that it is very important for our children to learn Mandarin. We both do not speak the language and therefore cannot help our children with their work.
I will require someone to teach my 2 sons individually for an hour each for either 1 or 2 times a week depending on your recommendatio n.
I would appreciate a discussion regarding your thoughts.
